Kiwanis Club of Hopkinsville Helps Fuel Runners at the Hoptown 5K and Half Marathon

The Kiwanis Club of Hopkinsville was up bright and early to support the Hoptown 5K and Half Marathon, serving up pancakes and helping fuel participants for a memorable morning of running and community spirit.

Club members gathered to make and flip pancakes for runners participating in both races. It was a great opportunity for Kiwanians to lend a hand, support a local event, and show their commitment to making Hopkinsville a stronger, more connected community.

The Hoptown 5K and Half Marathon brought together participants of all experience levels, from those taking on their first race to seasoned runners challenging themselves over longer distances. The dedication and determination shown by everyone who took part made the morning worth celebrating.

Congratulations to all the participants! Whether you completed the 5K or crossed the finish line of the half marathon, your hard work and perseverance deserve recognition. The Kiwanis Club of Hopkinsville is proud to cheer you on!

The club also extends its appreciation to the Hopkinsville Parks and Rec, volunteers, and everyone who helped make the event possible. Community events like this thrive because of the people who give their time and energy to bring others together.

At the Kiwanis Club of Hopkinsville, service takes many forms. Sometimes, it means flipping pancakes before sunrise and helping our neighbors start their day with a smile.

We are proud to support events that bring our community together and look forward to continuing to serve Hopkinsville through fellowship, volunteerism, and a commitment to helping others.
