Kiwanis of Hopkinsville Gives Back

We are thrilled to announce that we recently donated $2,500 to three organizations that benefit the children of Hopkinsville and Christian County.

From our Lola Cunningham Fund, which is money designated to help with mentoring programs, we donated $1,000 each to Men2Be and Dyslexia Association to aid their efforts to improve children’s lives. Lola Cunningham was a young lady, who was orphaned in the 1970s, taken in by several Kiwanians. When she grew up, she gifted the club money as a thank you for taking care of her for several years and making sure she received an education.

From our service project fund, we donated $500 to the Distinguished Young Women of Christian County. Money in our service project fund comes from fundraisers and donations to the club.

The Kiwanis Club of Hopkinsville is happy to support three amazing organizations which follow our mission of improving the lives of children.
